Where is the best urban art in Rome?

Art murals are now an attraction in all major cities around the world… Rome started late, in the ‘90s, but it was able to catch up fast and well with great local artists such as Diavù, Alicè or Mr Klevra with their unique Italian background. Our city also hosts international  artists of huge fame in the field (Ron English, Gary Baseman just to mention a couple!) and it’s worth having a look!

It’s a great occasion to discover the suburban side of Rome which is usually neglected by visitors. We can arrange a walking tour in one of the following districts or combine more than one with a Vespa tour.

• Trullo: the well aligned façades of the council houses are perfect “canvases” for big murals one after another
• Quadraro: the project MURo by Diavù still reverberates on many walls of this district
