Arianna
Born and raised in Rome, Arianna was always in love with her city. Thanks to a guided tour of the Catacombs, when she was a child, she discovered her fascination of ancient history and archeology. Her passion for it stayed as strong as it was then. Today she has a PHD in Classical Archeology and a licence as official tour guide in Rome, a perfect mix: in fact as a tour guide she has the chance to share her love for Rome and to pass down her knowledge of art and antiquities making history come alive. When she’s not leading tours, she’s often busy as a freelance archaeologist for the Municipality of Rome: so far she catalogued marble fragments and was engaged in digs in the Trajan’s Market and Julius Caesar’s Forum. She worked as an archaeologist in Spain too, therefore she is fluent in the language and can lead the tours in both English and Spanish.
